Mechanical Properties of Russian Plywood

Mechanical properties of Richwise plywood are certified by Bremen Institute of Forest Products in accordance with EN13986:2004 as:

F 40/25; E 70/40

Where,

F 40/25 means basic bending working stresses are from 38 to 60 N/mm² (38…60 MPa)
E 70/40 means elastic moduli are from 4000 to 7000 N/mm² (MPa)

NOTE: All figures above are relating to moisture content in plywood of 10+/-2 %

Density

Standard density of Richwise birch plywood is 680 kg/m³

Biological durability

Birch plywood meets requirements of Standard EN636-2.  However in permanent exterior structures plywood must be properly surfaced, edges sealed.

In general, the plywood can withstand direct exposure to air and water during building stage in construction.
